The Shanghai Grand Theatre New Year Concert welcomes 2008 with a performance by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. The evening programme includes 12 pieces by various composers, with the second half completely devoted to the works of Johann Strauss.
The orchestra handily performs two concerts on 31 December - early evening and late-night - to fit into more people's New Year's Eve plans. As well as Strauss, other featured composers include Hwang Anny, Grieg, Brahms and Tchaikovsky.
Openning Hours: 7.15pm and 10.30pm.
